Business Development Manager, Corporate Advisory
As a result of expansion, we are seeking a Business Development Manager, Corporate Advisory to join the company, AIMS Capital Securities Limited ("AIMS Cap"). The company is the corporate advisory arm of the group, AIMS Financial Group; the group focuses on Funds Management, Investment Banking, Real Estate Investment, Stock Exchange, Securitisation and Mortgage Lending.
Key functions and accountabilities will include but not limited to:
- ECM/DCM: general equity and debt capital market transactions, small to mid-cap M&A, and general corporate advisory work, general capital raising in overseas and Australia
- Partnership/ Private equity funds raising: developing partnerships and joint-ventures in funds management, private placement and overseas non-public offering financing, introducing overseas strategic investors/financial institutions.
- Corporate advisory services/IPOs: capital raising & IPOs for companies to be listed, assisting in the submission of the materials and completion of initial preparatory work for companied to be listed on Asia Pacific Stock Exchange (APX), implementing the restructuring plan for the company to be listed
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Minimum 10 years' experience at boutique or regional investment bank with demonstrable ECM and/or DCM execution experience
- Proficient language abilities in English, Mandarin and Cantonese
- Previous success and proven track record in new business development and closing investment banking transactions (book of business contacts)
- Deep understanding of the capital marketplace, including deal multiples, pricing, structure, potential financing sources and buyers, and an ability to develop capital-raising strategies and execute upon those strategies
- Significant client interaction and experience, particularly showing the ability to develop strong and influential client relationships
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics or an MBA or equivalent
KPIs in the following areas:
- IPO origination
- Capital raising for the company
- Capital raising for the Funds
- Partnership with securities companies, funds companies, etc.
A remuneration package commensurate to the role will be offered. This will include an attractive incentive scheme.
