APP Securities is currently experiencing a period of exciting growth in a number of areas and seeks a motivated and professional to join our Investment Banking team.

The Candidate

You will have an established client base and a successful track record of origination and execution of ECM and M&A Advisory transactions in Australia. It is highly likely you will have worked in Corporate Finance in an investment bank or stockbroking firm. The focus of your role will be origination and execution of primary equity deals, either IPO's or placements, but it is likely you will also have experience in Corporate Broking and M&A Advisory. You will be highly motivated and a self-starter. This is an opportunity to become a key early part of fast growing and dynamic investment banking and equities business.

Your Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with Corporate Clients
• Originate and execute ECM and M&A Advisory transactions
• Alongside the Institutional desk and Retail Advisors, coordinate the distribution of ECM transactions
• Contribute actively to the strategic direction of the business

Skills and Experiences

• Substantial experience in Corporate Finance in an Investment Bank or Stockbroking firm
• Successful track record of ECM and M&A Advisory origination
• Detailed knowledge of Corporate Finance execution processes and valuation methodologies
• A positive attitude
• Excellent verbal/written communication skills
• Knowledge and experience of Asia Pacific is desirable
