Sydney Stock Exchange (SSX) is currently experiencing a period of exciting growth in a number of areas and seeks a motivated and professional Business Development Manager (BDM), specialising in Fintect, Mining or Agriculture to provide support on IPO and listing of businesses on Public Markets. The BDM will be a member of a team responsible for growing Public Listings businesses by promotion and marketing to prospective listed companies and members of the ecosystem that support them.

These duties cover:

• Actively engage with company founders, private equity and venture capital investors, senior corporate executives and their advisers to develop their understanding of the benefits, requirements, and process of listing.
• Develop relationships with key influencers such as investment banks, brokers, accounting, legal and corporate advisory firms, to foster and facilitate direct equity capital market business.
• Initiate, organise and participate in domestic and international IPO/seminars and roundtable events in partnership with market intermediaries and professional service organisations.
• Identify new listing leads through analysis of appropriate databases
• Conduct case studies and detailed equity capital market analytics for the purpose of producing high quality compelling "pitchbook" information for use in presentations, brochurware.
• Deliver on new listing targets through execution of domestic and international promotion and marketing strategies.

Essential skills and experience

• Experience in the securities industry with particular knowledge of public equity markets.
• Business development/customer relationship management experience
• Experience in dealing with senior level company executives

Base plus Commission/STI, potential for high OTE
