Roles and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
As the Level 2/3 Infrastructure Support, you will be responsible for delivering fast and quality support to all end-user. You will be supporting Windows and Mac workstations, Linux, Windows server and Cloud environment.
- Azure Cloud service
- Office 365 (Exchange online, SharePoint online, Lync)
- MS Windows 2008/2012, Mac and Linux environments and servers
- Active Directory and Group policy Management
- Firewalls, Proxy, content filtering, Symantec, McAfee, , WSUS, IIS, MS SQL, MYSQL
- Cisco routers and switches, network patching and basic understand of networking.
- Backup software (Backup Exec, ShadowProtect)
- Virtualisation - HyperV or VMware
- Basic understanding of PBX and voice support
Key skills, Attributes and Experience
- A minimum of 3 years technical services experience
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems or relevant discipline
- Solid problem solving skill with an acute attention to detail
- Self-starter, able to undertake independent learning to maintain and improve skill set
- Self-motivated to bring issue to closure and deal with all levels of users
- Able to work flexible hours – occasional after hour's work and participation in on-call roster
- Must be a team player and ability to work with a variety of people
- Must be able to demonstrate a strong customer service focus with excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
