The Key responsibilities for this role will include but not limited to:

• Provide accurate and timely financial information supported by analytical detail for the management, the board, and government as well as industry regulatory bodies including ASIC.
• Ensure compliance with financial procedures and all reporting obligations.
• liaise and assist external auditors.
• Compile budgets and developing forecasting models.
• Participate in developing business, providing advice and also draft and execute strategic plans by undertaking specific analysis.
• Develop and implement financial management strategies.
• Oversee a small finance and accounting team.
• Manage, develop and direct your team while maintaining a hands-on approach to day to day operations.

As for a successful candidate, you should:

• have tertiary qualifications in an accounting/finance or related discipline with proactive personality and strong leadership
• have experience with structure finance including areas of securitization and/or property fund management business preferred
• responsible, self-motivated, energetic and goal oriented
• a good hands-on team leader focused on leading by example
• Possess strong presentation and communication skills complemented by an outstanding personality
