Hon Steve Bracks

Steve Bracks joins AIMS following an overwhelmingly successful career in state politics. Sworn in as Premier of Victoria in October 1999, and re-elected in November 2002 and November 2006 with two of the largest majorities in Victoria's history, Steve resigned on 27 July 2007, after almost eight years as Premier, and Minister for Multicultural Affairs and Minister for Veterans'Affairs. As Premier, Steve rebuilt Victoria's infrastructure and services, and invested heavily in education and skills while maintaining strong budgets and managing a growing economy. He led a reform proposal through a National Reform Agenda designed to increase workplace participation, improve skills, reduce business regulation and boost productivity. These proposals won backing from all Australian Governments. Steve is also a leading advocate for both multiculturalism and Aboriginal reconciliation.
James Tong
Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board
James Tong brings to the Advisory Board more than 25 years experience in the financial markets, including over 22 years with BNP Paribas (formerly Banque Nationale de Paris) group in Australia and New Zealand. James has held many senior positions in banking, merchant banking, investment banking and stockbroking. He was founding Managing Director/CEO of BNP Paribas Equities (Aust) Limited and BNP Pariba Equities Group (Aust) Limited and was appointed Head of Equities for Australia & NZ after BNP merged with Paribas.
Greg Bundy
Vice Chairman of the Advisory Board
Greg Bundy has two decades of experience in investment banking, stockbroking and funds management. Until recently, he was Vice Chairman of Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific with responsibility for all capital market accounts from Korea, HongKong, Singapore and China, to Australia. Joining Merrill Lynch in 1984 after graduating from Yale University, Greg's roles have included head of US equity trading, Managing Director of International Equities and Chief Operating Officer of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. As well as a wealth of experience in all aspects of the Australian and US capital marketplaces, Greg brings experience in Asia.
George Wang
CEO of AIMS Financial Group
George Wang founded AIMS Financial Group in 1991 and as CEO, George is directly involved in all aspects of the AIMS group of businesses both in Australia and China. George is an appointed advisor for a number of Chinese Government bodies including the position of Deputy President of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. In Australia, George is the President of the Australia-China Finance & Investment Council.
Dustine Pang
Chief Financial Officer
Dustine Pang has over 19 years experience gained mostly in financial markets. He brings with him senior executive and finance leadership experience across Finance, HR, Administration and Risk Management. Dustine was CFO of Merrill Lynch HSBC and Group Financial Controller of BNP Paribas Equities Group as well as Financial Controller of Ord Minnett Group (now J P Morgan). He is a chartered accountant by background having gained his financial services audit experience with PwC and Deloitte in London, HongKong and Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Jim Miltiadis
Head of Credit & Support
Jim Miltiadis recently re-joined AIMS having worked previously in the Company as National Manager, Group Risk and Channel Relationships between 2000 and 2005. Jim is an industry specialist in the key areas of risk, credit and administration. In the banking and finance industry since 1971, Jim has worked for State Bank of NSW and Advance Bank, and held executive positions with Resimac and the Fanmac Group.
