James Tong
Chairman of Investment and Advisory Board

James Tong brings to the Advisory Board more than 25 years experience in the financial markets, including over 22 years with BNP Paribas (formerly Banque Nationale de Paris) group in Australia and New Zealand. James has held many senior positions in banking, merchant banking, investment banking and stockbroking. He was founding Managing Director/CEO of BNP Paribas Equities (Aust) Limited and BNP Pariba Equities Group (Aust) Limited and was appointed Head of Equities for Australia & NZ after BNP merged with Paribas.

George Wang
Chairman and CEO

George Wang is the founding CEO of AIMS Financial Group and an active participant in both the Australian and Chinese financial services industries.

George came to Australia from China 20 years ago and founded AIMS Financial Group 2 years later.In its eighteen years life, AIMS has evolved into a diversified financial services group, active in the areas of lending, securitisation, investment banking, real estate funds management and properties, resources, high-tech and infrastructure investment.In the course of developing AIMS Financial Group into a significant financial services group in Australia, George has developed a strong skill base in the areas of securitisation, real estate funds management, structured finance and innovative financial product development.

George has developed an extensive business network in both Australia and China.

George is active in the Chinese financial sector, he is an advisor for a number of Chinese Government bodies and Government agencies. He holds the position of Deputy President of the International Trade Council of China, a constituent body of China Council for the Promotion of International Trade.

In Australia, George Wang is the President of the Australia-China Finance & Investment Council.As the President of Australia-China Finance & Investment Council, George has been laying the foundation for the financial bridge between Australia and China for many years.

Greg Bundy
Deputy Chairman

Greg Bundy has two decades of experience in investment banking, stockbroking and funds management. Until recently, he was Vice Chairman of Merrill Lynch Asia Pacific with responsibility for all capital market accounts from Korea, HongKong, Singapore and China, to Australia. Joining Merrill Lynch in 1984 after graduating from Yale University, Greg's roles have included head of US equity trading, Managing Director of International Equities and Chief Operating Officer of Merrill Lynch Investment Managers. As well as a wealth of experience in all aspects of the Australian and US capital marketplaces, Greg brings experience in Asia.
Dustine Pang
Chief Financial Officer

Dustine Pang has over 19 years experience gained mostly in financial markets. He brings with him senior executive and finance leadership experience across Finance, HR, Administration and Risk Management. Dustine was CFO of Merrill Lynch HSBC and Group Financial Controller of BNP Paribas Equities Group as well as Financial Controller of Ord Minnett Group (now J P Morgan). He is a chartered accountant by background having gained his financial services audit experience with PwC and Deloitte in London, HongKong and Sydney. He is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Jim Miltiadis
Head of Group Operations

Jim Miltiadis has worked for AIMS more than 6 years as National Manager, Head of Group Risk and Channel Relationships and currently as Head of Credit & Support. Jim is an industry specialist in the key areas of risk, credit and administration. In the banking and finance industry since 1971, Jim has worked for State Bank of NSW and Advance Bank, and held executive positions with Resimac and the Fanmac Group.
Mark Thorpe-Apps
Executive Director - Funds Management

Mark Thorpe-Apps has over 15 years experience in funds management and financial services. Mark was a founding member of Pengana Capital, an established boutique fund management group. Mark headed Pengana's property securities team and grew funds under management from $3 million to over $1 billion. Mark was Head of Funds Management at Sama Dubai (based in Dubai). He has held senior property fund management roles with Bankers Trust and Lend Lease. He holds a business degree with majors in finance and marketing as well as a master's degree in applied finance.
Peter Liu
Director - China Investments

Peter Liu was Vice President of Huawei Group (one of only 11 in the company) and early staff of Huawei Group,  Huawei is one of the leading IT companies in the world with operations in 27 countries and has about 100,000 employees worldwide. Peter was one of the earliest computer network researchers in China. In 1993, he was a Software Project Manager in Shenzhen Huawei Company. From 1996 to 2000, he was involved in establishing Huawei Beijing Research Institution and was its Chief Director. In 4 years, its staff grew from 10 to 1,000. His technology prizes and awards include National Science and Technology Advancement Prize II, Science and Technology Advancement Prize I of Guangdong Province. Peter holds a Masters in Computer Communication in Shanghai Jiao Tong University (one of the leading universities in China). Peter is based in Shanghai China.
Ryan Rayfield
Head of Group Legal & Compliance

Ryan Rayfield is a qualified lawyer with approximately 10 years experience in the legal, compliance and risk management sectors. Having graduated in Queensland, Ryan practiced as a Solicitor in the areas of Banking and Finance, Commercial Litigation and General Commercial Law before moving to London in 2002 to work as a Risk Management Lawyer at Clifford Chance LLP. Following this role, Ryan worked as a Corporate Director in the Global Investment Banking Legal & Compliance team at ABN AMRO Bank in London before returning to work in a similar role at Babcock & Brown in Sydney in early 2008. In his previous roles Ryan has had exposure and experience in multiple jurisdictions including Europe, Asia and North America. Ryan holds a current NSW practicing certificate and has a Bachelor of Applied Science and a Bachelor of Laws.
Giam Lay Hoon
Executive Director (Singapore)

Ms Giam is a qualified lawyer by training and has extensive experience in legal, corporate governance, compliance and regulatory issues. She is an Advocate & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Singapore and started her career as Deputy Registrar of Titles and Deeds in the prestigious Singapore Legal Service. She has been in private legal practice in top‐tier law firms in Singapore, in the areas of real estate, corporate law and retail and institutional banking. Ms Giam has been the Company Secretary and in‐house counsel of Temasek Holdings Pte Ltd and Senior Vice President (Legal & Corporate Secretariat) of Mapletree Investments Pte Ltd, and its group companies.

Ms Giam has also been involved in the setting up of investment structures for and investments in media and technology companies, and is a private investor in several technology companies. She has had many years of experience in Corporate Governance in the listed and non‐listed spheres of corporate compliance, in corporate legal matters and has been involved project financing as well as mezzanine loans.
Nicholas McGrath
Chief Executive Officer— AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT Management Limited

Nick heads AIMS Real Estate Team in Asia and is responsible as Chief Executive Officer of the SGX listed AIMS AMP Capital Industrial REIT.

Prior to joining MacarthurCook, Nick had more than eight years of experience in corporate finance and property funds management in Australia and Singapore with Allco Finance Group and two years of legal experience with Blake Dawson Waldron.

From January 2007 until the sale to Frasers Centrepoint Limited, Nick was Chief Executive Officer of Allco Commercial REIT and Managing Director of Allco (Singapore) Limited.

Nick holds a Bachelors degree in Business and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Technology in Sydney and has completed a graduate diploma of Applied Finance and Investment from the Securities Institute of Australia.
Koh Wee Lih
Senior Investment Manager - Asia

Mr. Koh is the Senior Investment Manager, primarily responsible for MacarthurCook's Asian real estate acquisitions and management of the regional asset management function. Prior to joining MacarthurCook in 2008, Mr. Koh worked at AIG Global Real Estate Investment (Asia) L.L.C. (“AIGGRE”) as Senior Manager of Investments where he was responsible for managing AIGGRE's real estate investments in Vietnam.

Prior to that, Mr. Koh was with CapitaLand Financial Limited, CapitaLand's investment and corporate finance arm, where he was actively involved in the structuring of CapitaLand's private equity funds, evaluation of its international investments, as well as the listing of Ascott Residence Trust on Singapore Exchange. Mr. Koh also spearheaded CapitaLand Commercial Limited's business development and investment efforts in Vietnam. Mr. Koh started his career as a financial analyst at Deutsche Bank's structured finance team where he advised clients on asset securitization transactions.

Mr. Koh has an Master of Business Administration, a Master of Science in Industrial and Operations Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
Russell Bullen
Head of Real Estate MacarthurCook - Australia

Russell heads MacarthurCook’s Real Estate team in Australia and is responsible for the company’s listed and unlisted direct property funds.

With more than 16 years of experience in the real estate industry, Russell has provided advisory services and interim management to institutions, major corporations, developers, REITs, banks and private companies in Australia and in the US.

Prior to joining MacarthurCook, Russell was a Managing Director at Alvarez & Marsal, and was responsible for the Real Estate Practice in Dallas, Texas, USA. Prior to Alvarez & Marsal, Mr. Bullen spent five years with the real estate advisory group PricewaterhouseCoopers. He also worked with the real estate group of the Commonwealth Bank of Australia.

Russell holds a Bachelors degree in Business, with a concentration in property, from the University of South Australia and a post graduate degree in Finance and Investments from the Securities Institute of Australia. He is a qualified member of the Australian Property Institute and the Securities Institute of Australia.
Michael Petruccelli
Head of Mortgages Fund Managment

Michael had over 20 years experience with National Australia Bank with a focus on business banking. In 1996 he was appointed Assistant Mortgage Trust Manager of the National Australia Mortgage Fund and Mortgage Trust Manager from 2000.

Michael was appointed Head of Mortgages at MacarthurCook in December 2003 following MacarthurCook’s acquisition of the management rights of the National Australia Mortgage Fund. Michael has a sound knowledge of commercial lending practices and brings his extensive experience to the management of MacarthurCook’s mortgage funds.
